The mission of the DFW Tracking Club is to fill a need to the tracking community for tracking tests, tracking classes, and tracking education.
About Us...
DFWTC was founded in the summer of 2005 by members of the tracking community in order to offer AKC tracking tests, teach classes in tracking, and serve the tracking needs in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
Since that time DFWTC has held tracking seminars, tracking classes, AKC-licensed Tracking Dog tests, and we held our first AKC-licensed Variable Surface Tracking Test in January, 2010.
DFWTC has instructors who can provide instruction in tracking from the novice to the advanced tracker. Although there are many types of scenting activities for dogs, our classes are specifically structured to teach dogs and their humans to track for tracking tests licensed by the American Kennel Club.
DFW Tracking Club is licensed by American Kennel Club, and a tax exempt 501(c) organization. For more information about DFWTC, email the club secretary at info@dfwtc.org.
