From Left to Right: Judge Sally Elkins, Pat Tackett, Diver, and
Judge Kathleen Milford
I have a BIG brag -- Diver passed in Houston! He was the 5th dog to run out of 5 tracks and he was the only dog to pass….WHOOOOOHOOOOO! I'm sure EVERYONE heard me holler when he got to his glove <VBG>.

We had a heart stopping moment when I heard a whistle, but Diver was tracking strong.
When he slowed down and was searching for the next turn, I half turned and looked at the
judges, but they weren't acting like they had blown us off. He came back close to me and I
took the opportunity to give him a little drink. He finished up his last leg in style which was
110 yards long!
He had a 'top hat' with two long legs. His first leg was 90 yards, left turn to a 55 yard
leg, right turn to a 150 yard leg, right turn to a second short leg of 50 yards, and a left turn to a final 110 yard
leg. His total track yardage was 455 yards. The two short legs that were 55 & 50 made me feel
clueless on where we were. I was starting to doubt him, but then he got in his tracking mode and plowed
down the track. You can imagine my surprise to hear a whistle -- turns out it was from the soccer fields
across the highway where they were playing soccer!
